Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital”), a leading private investment firm focused on investing in defensible businesses in growing markets with tangible performance improvement opportunities, today announced the addition of four new Vice Presidents: Erik Hällström, Ziad Jawadi, Alex Ott and Uri Perry, to the firm’s Operations team.

Hällström has deep experience as a hands-on, entrepreneurial CEO/CXO for high growth companies across several industries and as a management consulting leader. He led Snipp Interactive, a mobile marketing and e-commerce platform, as CEO from start-up to exit; served as Chief Operating Officer at Tahzoo, an IT systems integrator and SaaS software development consultancy; launched a new advisory business as COO at Lightbridge; and was Chief Client Officer at Vivoom, an enterprise SaaS platform for video-based consumer engagement. Hällström started his career at the Boston Consulting Group, where he advised multinational and emerging companies on strategic and operational issues. He holds a master’s degree in Engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, a master’s degree in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.
Jawadi joins Sun Capital from Waze/Google where he served as the ‘COO’ of the Waze Global SMB team as their Strategy & Operations Manager. Jawadi was responsible for setting the strategy for the business and working with senior leadership to execute it across 12 ads programs. His initiatives helped the team grow revenue by over 150%. Prior to Google, Jawadi spent several years as a consultant with Bain & Company, where he worked with a broad array of global clients to drive operational and strategic excellence by leading key client turnarounds. Jawadi received his BA from Georgetown University, graduating magna cum laude, and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
Ott was most recently a manager at Strategy&, the global strategy consulting team at PwC, where he focused on operational design and strategic development at Fortune 500 businesses in the business solutions, financial, and technology sectors. Prior to joining Strategy&, he was a Chief of Staff and Operations Manager at Uber Technologies. Ott received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Perry brings hands-on experience across multiple industries and functions to Sun Capital, including strategy, technology, operations, procurement, and supply chain engagements. He was previously an operating executive at Tacit Capital where he acted as interim Chief Operating officer for Hair Cuttery, the U.S.’ largest privately owned and operated hair salon chain. Previous positions include manager at Ernst & Young where he pioneered EY’s first Americas innovation unit and worked on several post-merger integrations; Management Consultant at Kearney where he worked on cost reduction engagements for Fortune 100 companies and an attorney at Gornitzky & Co. where he focused on commercial law and tax litigation. Perry earned a bachelor’s degree in Law at Tel Aviv University and a earned an MBA at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
