Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital”), a leading private investment firm focused on investing in defensible businesses in growing markets with tangible performance improvement opportunities, today announced two additions to the firm’s senior leadership. Susan Clark has joined the firm as Managing Director – Head of Technology Value Creation on the Operations team and Kelli Turner has joined as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer.

With over 20 years of technology and private equity experience, Clark joins Sun Capital from TCV, a technology growth investment firm where she was General Partner of Portfolio Operations. She was responsible for standing up the firm’s advisory and operating organization to drive value across the portfolio. Prior to joining TCV in 2019, Clark served as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Operations at Vista Equity Partners. Previously, she held various strategic planning and business process improvement roles across Forcepoint, Dell, IBM and DXC Technology. Clark received her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Kettering University where she had both NASA and GM as co-op sponsors and received her Master of Business Administration from Oakland University.
Turner brings 25 years of financial and operational experience to Sun Capital, which she joins from SESAC Holdings, Inc., where she served as President and Chief Operating Officer. She was previously SESAC’s Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to her role at SESAC, Turner was in various roles with the RSL group, including Chief Financial Officer. Prior to RSL, Turner was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Turner has also held leadership positions at Time Warner and its New Line Cinema division. She started her career as an investment banker, with roles at Citigroup and Allen & Company. Turner earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
