Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital”), a leading private investment firm focused on investing in market-leading companies, today announced two additions to the firm’s senior leadership. Kelly Griffin has joined the firm as Managing Director – Head of Investor Relations and Dr. Angela Geffre has joined as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Griffin joins Sun Capital from Caxton Associates LP, a discretionary global macro hedge fund, where she was Partner, Global Head of Investor Relations, responsible for shaping the firm’s strategy, developing new products and identifying business opportunities. In 2019, The Hedge Fund Journal named her one of its “Fifty Leading Women in Hedge Funds.” Prior to joining Caxton in 2013, Griffin served as Managing Director at Gramercy. She has also held business development positions at Diamondback and UBS Securities, as well as Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC. Griffin received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Economics from Lake Forest College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson Graduate School of Business.
Geffre joins Sun Capital from Jones Lang LaSalle in Chicago, where she served as Global Head of Talent. She has more than 16 years of experience in leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies, focusing on talent management, recruiting, assessment, talent analytics, and leadership development. Previously she was Director of Human Resources at the Kellogg Company, where she led HR for businesses in North America and Europe. She started her career at Procter & Gamble as a manager in Global Talent and later became a Human Resources business partner for the Gillette business. Dr. Geffre received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kalamazoo College and earned a Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University.
