Officials from Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions LLC announced the company has finalized the acquisition of Bradenton, Florida-based R.F. Supply Inc., a regional leader of fabrication and distribution glass products for architectural, industrial, commercial and custom applications. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
With the completion of this transaction, Trulite will expand its presence in the Florida market with a wide array of tempered, insulated, and mirrored fabricated offerings. Additionally, the RF Supply product offering will be enhanced to include laminated and Guardian/PPG certified products, according to a company release.
“Our continued pursuit of operational excellence has positioned us well to meet the rapidly increasing demand for quality fabricated products,” said Paul Schmitz, CEO of Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions, in the release. “State of the art equipment additions and upgrades, organic growth as well as strategic acquisitions are allowing us to meet this demand and better serve the industry.”
RF Supply marks Trulite’s sixth acquisition since April 2011, demonstrating the company’s financial strength and appetite for growth, company officials said in the release.
“We are delighted to retain the leadership of Michael Hoelle, the current general manager of RF Supply. We expect little to change for the current RF Supply customers after the acquisition,” said Trulite’s executive vice president, Paul Mahedy, in the release.
