Continues to Build Out Leadership Teams in the U.S. and Europe In Active Deal Environment
BOCA RATON, FL Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital”), a leading private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market–leading companies, today announced that it has promoted five executives to the position of Managing Director. Sun Capital’s expanded global senior management team now counts 22 Managing Directors, including 11 on the operations team, 9 on the investment team, and 2 responsible for corporate infrastructure. Two of the promotions were made at Sun European Partners, the London–based European adviser to Sun Capital.

Those promoted to Managing Director are: Paul Daccus, Scott W. Edwards, Anthony Polazzi, Brian J. Urbanek and Aaron Wolfe.
Background on the individuals:
Paul Daccus has more than a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions, specializing in private equity and acquisition finance. Prior to joining Sun European Partners in 2005, Mr. Daccus served as a Director on corporate finance teams at Deloitte and Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen LLC. He received his Bachelor of Accountancy degree with Honours from Dundee University.
Scott W. Edwards has more than 15 years of leveraged buyout and mergers and acquisitions experience, having previously worked as a Principal with Henderson Private Capital in London and as an Associate with GE Equity and Advent International. He joined Sun Capital in 2005. Along with transaction responsibilities, Mr. Edwards heads Sun Capital’s Investor Relations and Communications team. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Finance from Georgetown University and received a Master’s in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College where he was designated a Tuck Scholar.
Anthony G. Polazzi has spent more than a decade working in private equity and leveraged finance. Prior to joining Sun Capital Partners in 2003, Mr. Polazzi worked as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets. He received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.
Brian J. Urbanek is a veteran of more than 15 years in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance industries. Prior to joining Sun Capital Partners in 2006 and more recently Sun European Partners in 2011, Mr. Urbanek served as Vice President in the Investment Banking Group with Stephens, Inc., as Vice President, Investment Banking with Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., and as Manager of Corporate Development with AutoNation, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual majors in Economics and Finance from Creighton University.
Aaron P. Wolfe joined Sun Capital over a decade ago and has experience in leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, and financings in both the public and private markets, and managing investments in a broad range of industries. Mr. Wolfe worked at Sun European Partners in 2008 and 2009. Prior to joining Sun Capital, Mr. Wolfe worked with Harris Williams & Co., a boutique investment bank. Mr. Wolfe graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a focus on Natural Sciences.
