In pursuit of expanding its presence nationally, Edwin Watts Golf Shops LLC announced its entry into Oklahoma with the opening of its first store in the state.
The retail chain’s newest location opened July 15; the 6,040–square–foot facility is in Tulsa. The addition increases Edwin Watts retail locations to more than 90 in the United States.
The Tulsa store is equipped with a launch monitor, club repair station and an indoor putting green. The retail chain has been placing a premium on custom–fitting services and will continue that practice at the new location.
Based in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Edwin Watts is an affiliated portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners Inc.) and has been in the golf retail business for more than 42 years. In addition to its “brick and mortar” locations, the retail chain operates an e–commerce site (www.edwinwattsgolf.com) and catalog sales.
